Where is Kling Kling?

Kling Kling is tucked away at the foot of Llandovery Dairy Farm, down a long drive through pastures to the sea. It is off the main North Coast road between St Anns Bay and Runaway bay. The house is open planned with a long veranda and an expansive lawn down to the beach and the sea with a nearby freshwater river.

The many tourist facilities of the North Coast are within very easy reach; Ocho Rios, Jamaica's oldest tourist destination is just 10 miles one way and Runaway Bay with golf course, scuba and tennis facilities only 5 minutes the other. Exploration into the interior beckons as you look inland at rolling blue hills.

Winsome your housekeeper

Safe, secure with live in housekeeper/cook and gardener. Winsome and her family who have lived there for four generations will look after you, cook for you, help with shopping and make your stay unforgettable - true Jamaican hospitality. There is also a menagerie of dogs, goats and chickens wandering around looked after by Winsome's son Corrie.

Errol, Winsome's cousin will go spear fishing daily off the reef providing fresh fish for lunch/supper. Winsome's cooking is traditional Jamaican fayre - fish, salt fish and ackee, fricasee chicken, rice and peas and more. You are in charge of what you eat,and if you want to cook yourselves then that is up to you. All you have to do is go and buy it - or pay Winsome and she will go for you.

The house is privately owned and has been used as a family beach house for over 50 years. It has recently had a make over with new linen, paintwork, a new kitchen, mosquito netting and all rooms come with fans and mosquito nets.
